Plexiglas, carbon, aluminium
Acrylic (plexiglass) panels
Acrylic is by far the most commonly used material for switch and dashboard panels. Because it is very robust and, at the same time, has an exclusive appearance and is easy to work with, most people choose this material.
As the only cutting and engraving company in the Netherlands, we select all our materials based on their properties for water sports! Our exclusive, high-end and robust materials are perfectly suitable for the tough conditions on and around the water!
HiGLOSS Reverso
Our most commonly used material. Due to the high gloss, the surface of the panel has a mirror effect, which creates a unique appearance
✓ Available in 3 to 5mm thickness
✓ Unique and exclusive appearance due to the glossy & mirror surface
✓ Very strong
✓ Available in all possible colors
✓ Easy to polish if there is a scratch on it
✓ Reverso engraving available up to 5mm
✓ Lay-in engraving available from 5mm thick material
X Slightly more sensitive to scratches than UniMatte Reverso
UniMatte Reverso
For those who want the high-gloss panels to be a bit too shiny, we have the unique matte material called UniMatte. This is the same material, only the surface is made matte
by the manufacturer.
✓ Available in 3mm
✓ 5mm also available, but more expensive
✓ Unique appearance thanks to the matte surface
✓ Very robust
✓ Available in all possible colors
✓ Less sensitive to scratches than high-gloss
✓ Reverso engraving available up to 3mm (5mm on request)
✓ Lay-in engraving available up to 8mm
X Removing scratches on the surface is hardly possible. After polishing
this part becomes shiny.
Reverso engraving
With Reverso engraving, the plexiglass sheet is completely transparent, with the back of the panel covered with a black layer. The plate then goes upside down on the engraving machine, where all engravings are made as a mirror image. When the plate is turned over again, all engravings return to normal. This way the front of the panel remains nice and flat and the engravings can no longer be damaged after installation. Moreover, these engravings can now be illuminated!
Lay-in engraving
Lay-in engraving uses 2 types of material. The basic material consists of plexiglass as we know it, black through and through (or another color). The engravings, on the other hand, are made on other, thinner pieces of plexiglass according to the 'reverso' principle. These are then attached to the base material, allowing the engravings to transmit light.
Carbon dashboards en platen
This material should of course not be missing in water sports! Due to its sporty appearance, carbon is often used for dashboards, both in water sports and in cars.
✓ Available in 1 to 3mm thickness (thicker on request)
✓ Very strong
✓ Perfect for a dashboard panel
X This material cannot be engraved
Of course we can also make other products from our carbon sheet material, such as the frame for a drone!

Anodized aluminium
Anodizing
In addition to plexiglass, we also make many panels from anodized aluminum. Raw aluminum is exposed to an electrochemical process, which gives the surface of the panel a color of your choice and hardens it.
-No coating, the anodized layer becomes part of the material
-Also "brushed" material available
-UV radiation, moisture and temperature have no influence on the material
-Easy to maintain and clean
-Cheap alternative to powder coating
-Available in various colours
